Is your sign tried, old and not effective? There are times when you don’t need a new sign, but a good refinish will do.
Is new the way to go? - In all honesty, most times, a new sign will be the way to go. The changes in logos, the damage to the sign over years of weathering, the trouble of getting the old sign off are the main reasons. However, once in a while there is a cheap and effective way to get a second life out of a sign without buying all new.
Take Down - Ernst has a sign on the wall of their building. It is high up on a wall. Signs for San Diego has the equipment to reach those letters. We carefully took down each and brought them all back to the shop.
Re-finish - Signs for San Diego mixes paint, we stripped and painted each. The paint job took a dull, faded sign and renewed it. Each letter shines like new.
Re-Installation – The trick to a straight as a pin installation is to use a pattern. In this case the holes in the wall were the same ones needed for the re- installation. We reattached each letter with silicon and the results were - Dramatic
