Pick the sign sign for the salt air

Gardens by the Sea Nursery is between La Costa and Leucadia on the 101.  They are artist as well as gardeners and make garden displays out of the local materials like rocks, driftwood, terracotta, old crates, pottery, and all sorts of other things.  It feels like home, but with a much better eye and a greener thumb.

They also know there plants. You can tell them what look and feel you are after and they will help fit the right plants to the location. Signs for San Diego recently had the privilege of replacing a couple of older signs and putting up new ones.Gardenbythesea sign resized 600

We replaced a banner that seems to have been there for many years with a “DiBond” sign.  DiBond is a great material for this location. It is a sandwich. The outside (front and back) are Aluminum, the inside is a plastic or a polythene core.  This combination is unaffected by the salt air, it can not rot, insects and other forms of attach are not a concern. It is strong, rigid and durable for those rainy, foggy and windy days.

The Signs for San Diego design team worked with Garden by the Sea and created a great graphic in vinyl with a Laminate that will protect it from the sun (UV Blocker) and other wear.

We also made a banner for them and a couple of parking signs. We are happy to promote such a great mainstay of Lucadia. Both the signs and the garden should be there for many many years to come. Why not take a drive and see the folks at Garden by the Sea. It is a great drive – look for the signs and you can not miss it!
