Fry's Electronics is an American big-box store and retailer for electronics and electrical appliances. They also service computers and install car radios. Starting with one store in Sunnyvale, California, they now have 32 stores in 9 states.”

Founded in 1972 by Charles Fry, Charles sold his chain of grocery stores to Dillons. With his two sons, they opened an electronics store. Fry’s based its model on the grocery store but for appliances, computers, parts and general electronics. It is "The One-Stop Shop for the Silicon Valley Professional".

The first store turned out to be too small, and a 2nd store was opened. The interior was designed to look like the inside of a giant computer with walls that looked like components and floors like circuit boards.

Fry’s had a problem with a pylon sign – it was in the wrong place. Not only did Signs for San Diego relocate it, but we also replaced large parts of this sign during the process. This involved a new (rather large) footing, new poles, and moving the cabinet of the pylon to the new location.

Do you have a project like this? We would love to work with you at Signs for San Diego.
