Wide format digital printing is the way we get those big signs. You see it in retailers windows, real-estate signs, on car wraps, posters, wall signs and just about everywhere. What you may not see is a silent battle happening in the sign shops. The technology for these printers is changing, and quickly. A 5 year old printer is an antique. These are not inexpensive and getting the best is not that easy. However, using older equipment may be great for metal work or routing, but it's the technological equivalent of owning an iPhone 4 or Windows XP.
